Wayne Shorter was an American jazz saxophonist and composer. He played with Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers and the Miles Davis Quintet, contributing several compositions. In 1970, he co-founded the fusion group Weather Report. Notable albums include "Speak No Evil" and "Emanon". He collaborated with artists such as Joni Mitchell and Carlos Santana.
