Wee Willie Harris was an English rock 'n' roll singer known for his energetic performances and colorful hair. Born in Bermondsey, London, he began his career at the 2i's Coffee Bar in Soho, performing alongside artists like Tommy Steele and Adam Faith. In 1957, he released his debut single "Rockin' At The 2 I's" on the Decca label. Although his recordings did not achieve significant commercial success, his dynamic performances influenced many, including members of The Beatles. Harris continued recording and performing into the 21st century, releasing the album "Rag Moppin'" in 2003. He passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 90.
