Whitey Morgan and the 78's is an American country band from Flint, Michigan, formed in 2005. Their music is influenced by outlaw country and traditional honky-tonk. They released their debut album, "Honky Tonks and Cheap Motels," in 2008 under Small Stone Records. In 2010, they signed with Bloodshot Records and released a self-titled album that reached number 64 on the US Country chart. Subsequent albums include "Sonic Ranch" (2015) and "Hard Times and White Lines" (2018), with the latter reaching number 19 on the US Country chart. The band is known for their energetic live performances and authentic approach to country music.
