Wildwood was a psychedelic rock band from Stockton, California, active in the late 1960s. Their music featured raw, in-your-face hard psychedelia with plenty of Vox and Hammond organ, hard guitar, and powerful vocals. The band released two rare singles on the Magnum label, including the punk-a-delic classic "Plastic People." Their unreleased studio recordings from 1968-1970 were unearthed in 2012 and released on the compilation "Plastic People." Wildwood performed at legendary venues such as the Fillmore and the Matrix, sharing the stage with bands like Country Weather, Steve Miller Band, and Grateful Dead.
