Wilko Johnson was an English guitarist and singer, renowned for his distinctive fingerstyle guitar technique that allowed him to play rhythm and lead simultaneously. He was a founding member of Dr. Feelgood, a pivotal band in the 1970s pub rock scene. After departing Dr. Feelgood in 1977, he pursued a solo career with his own band and collaborated with various artists, including Roger Daltrey of The Who.
