Altered Images is a Scottish new wave/post-punk band that achieved success in the early 1980s. Fronted by singer Clare Grogan, the group had six UK Top 40 singles and three Top 30 albums between 1981 and 1983. Their most notable hits include "Happy Birthday", "I Could Be Happy", "See Those Eyes", and "Don't Talk to Me About Love". Their debut album, "Happy Birthday", was released in 1981 and reached number 26 on the UK Albums Chart. Subsequent albums "Pinky Blue" (1982) and "Bite" (1983) also achieved success. After disbanding in 1983, the group reunited in 2021 and released the album "Mascara Streakz" in 2022. The products available from the artist Altered Images include CDs, vinyls.
