Armando Trovajoli was an Italian composer, pianist, and conductor, renowned for his work on over 300 film soundtracks. Born in Rome in 1917, he studied at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory. In the 1940s, he became a significant figure in the Italian jazz scene, collaborating with musicians like Duke Ellington and Miles Davis. His most notable works include scores for films such as "La Ciociara" and "Ieri, oggi, domani". Trovajoli also contributed to musicals like "Rugantino" and "Aggiungi un posto a tavola". He passed away in Rome in 2013 at the age of 95.
