Baptiste Trotignon is a French jazz pianist and composer born in 1974. He studied piano and classical music from the age of six and discovered jazz and improvisation as a teenager. In 1998, he formed a trio with Clovis Nicolas and Tony Rabeson, releasing albums "Fluide" (2000) and "Sightseeing" (2001). His solo albums "Solo" (2003) and "Solo II" (2005) received critical acclaim. Trotignon has collaborated with artists such as Tom Harrell, Brad Mehldau, and Melody Gardot. In 2011, he was awarded the SACEM Grand Prix for his compositional work. His album "You've Changed" (2019) features collaborations with Joe Lovano, Avishai Cohen, and Ibrahim Maalouf.
