Blaudzun is the stage name of Dutch singer-songwriter Johannes Sigmond, born on October 26, 1974, in Arnhem. After playing in various bands, he began his solo career in 2006. His debut album, "Blaudzun," was released in 2008, followed by "Seadrift Soundmachine" in 2010. He achieved a breakthrough with the 2012 album "Heavy Flowers," which attained gold status in the Netherlands. In 2014, he released "Promises of No Man's Land," debuting at number one on the Dutch charts.
