LP platne - Charles Lloyd Quartet
The Charles Lloyd Quartet is an American jazz group led by saxophonist and flautist Charles Lloyd. In 1966, he formed the "classic quartet" with pianist Keith Jarrett, bassist Cecil McBee (later replaced by Ron McClure), and drummer Jack DeJohnette. Their 1966 album "Forest Flower," recorded at the Monterey Jazz Festival, became one of the most successful jazz recordings of the 1960s. The quartet was known for its innovative performances that attracted a broad audience, including rock fans and the hippie subculture. In 1967, they performed at the inaugural Montreux Jazz Festival, where they recorded a legendary concert. The products available from the artist Charles Lloyd Quartet include vinyls.
