Die Anarchistische Abendunterhaltung (DAAU) is a Belgian music group formed in 1992 in Antwerp. Originally a quartet of classically trained musicians—Buni Lenski (violin), Simon Lenski (cello), Han Stubbe (clarinet), and Roel van Camp (accordion)—they drew inspiration from various genres, including rock, jazz, and klezmer. Their 1995 debut album, "Die Anarchistische Abendunterhaltung," received acclaim for its unique fusion of these styles. Subsequent albums like "We Need New Animals" (1997) and "Life Transmission" (2001) expanded their sound with electronic elements and vocals. The band is known for their energetic live performances and has collaborated with artists such as An Pierlé and Ya Kid K.
