Ektomorf is a Hungarian heavy metal band founded in 1993 in Mezőkovácsháza, near the Romanian border, by Zoltán "Zoli/Zotya" Farkas. The band is known for its groove metal and thrash metal style. Notable albums include "Destroy" (2004), "Instinct" (2005), and "Outcast" (2006). In 2023, they released the album "Vivid Black." Ektomorf collaborated with Danish producer Tue Madsen, contributing to their international success. The band plans to perform a concert in Moscow on May 14, 2025, marking the first European metal band's concert in Russia since the 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
