For Those I Love is the musical project of David Andrew Balfe from Dublin, Ireland. His self-titled debut album, released in 2019, received critical acclaim. Balfe was previously a member of bands The Blind and Mothers & Fathers. In December 2020, he performed at the Other Voices festival. The album was dedicated to his late friend, poet Paul Curran. In 2021, the album won the Choice Music Prize.
