High Tide was an English rock band formed in 1969 in Northamptonshire. The group consisted of Tony Hill (guitar, vocals), Simon House (violin, keyboards), Peter Pavli (bass guitar), and Roger Hadden (drums). Their 1969 debut album, "Sea Shanties," is notable for integrating the violin into rock music. The follow-up album, "High Tide," was released in 1970. The band disbanded in 1970 after Hadden, who suffered from mental health issues, left. Later, members participated in projects like Third Ear Band and Hawkwind.
