Imarhan is an Algerian Tuareg desert rock band formed in 2006 in Tamanrasset. Their music blends traditional Tuareg rhythms and poetry with elements of funk, psychedelia, and pan-African grooves. The band has released three albums: "Imarhan" (2016), "Temet" (2018), and "Aboogi" (2022). They plan to release their fourth album, "Essam," in 2026. Imarhan is known for their modern approach to Tuareg music and close ties to the band Tinariwen.
