Japanese Breakfast is an American indie pop band from Philadelphia, formed in 2013 by Michelle Zauner. The band consists of Michelle Zauner (vocals, guitar), Peter Bradley (guitar), Deven Craige (bass guitar), and Craig Hendrix (drums, keyboards, backing vocals). Their debut album, "Psychopomp," was released in 2016, followed by "Soft Sounds from Another Planet" in 2017 and "Jubilee" in 2021, which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album. In 2025, they released their fourth album, "For Melancholy Brunettes (& Sad Women)," produced by Blake Mills.
