John Wetton was an English musician, singer, and songwriter known for his involvement in progressive rock bands. From 1972 to 1974, he was a member of King Crimson, contributing to albums like "Larks' Tongues in Aspic". He later joined U.K. and in 1981 co-founded the supergroup Asia, whose 1982 debut album "Asia" achieved commercial success. Wetton also released solo albums, including "Caught in the Crossfire" in 1980. Throughout his career, he collaborated with artists such as Roxy Music and Uriah Heep. He passed away in 2017 after battling colorectal cancer.
