Julia Effekt is an Austrian music group from Vienna, formed by five musicians from diverse backgrounds. Their debut album, "Nachtparkett," was released on October 17, 2025, under the Phat Penguin Records label and features 11 tracks, including "Je te tiens" and "Die Messe." The band is known for their style that blends elements of post-punk and indie rock, drawing inspiration from bands like The Smiths, The Cure, and Interpol. In October 2025, they supported the band Leftovers on their tour and plan their own "In den Augen das Parkett" tour in April 2026.
