Kiasmos is a Faroese-Icelandic minimal, experimental techno duo composed of Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen. Formed in 2009, they debuted with the EP "Thrown" in 2012, followed by their self-titled album "Kiasmos" in 2014. Their music blends elements of electronica, ambient, and minimal techno. In 2017, they released the EP "Blurred," which received critical acclaim for its emotional depth and complexity. Both members have rich musical backgrounds; Arnalds is a renowned multi-instrumentalist and producer, while Rasmussen is a member of the band Bloodgroup.
