Marie-Claude Pietragalla is a French dancer and choreographer known for her work in contemporary dance. Born in Paris, she began her career with the Paris Opera Ballet, where she achieved the rank of étoile. In 1998, she became the director of the Ballet of the National Theatre of Marseille. In 2004, she founded her own company, Pietragalla Company, where she created and performed several productions. Her work often blends classical ballet with contemporary dance and theater. Notable works include "La Femme Qui Danse" and "Les Chants de l'Innocence".
