Nèg' Marrons is a French hip-hop group from Garges-Sarcelles, Val-d'Oise, originally consisting of Ben-J (Fabien Loubayi), Jacky Brown (Jacky Teixeira), and Djamatik (Mitry Vigilant). The group debuted in 1995 with the single "La Monnaie" from the film "Raï." Their first album, "Rue Case Nègres" (1997), achieved gold status. After Djamatik's departure in 1999, they continued as a duo, releasing albums "Le Bilan" (2000), "Héritage" (2003), and "Les Liens Sacrés" (2008).
