Nikki Iles is a British jazz composer, pianist, and educator. She studied at the Royal Academy of Music and Leeds College of Music. After completing her studies, she settled in Yorkshire and collaborated with several London-based bands. In 1996, she received the John Dankworth Special Award at the BT Jazz Festival. In 2022, she was awarded the British Empire Medal for services to music. In 2025, she was appointed principal conductor of the NDR Bigband.
