Poets of the Fall is a Finnish rock band formed in 2003 in Helsinki. The group consists of Marko Saaresto (vocals), Olli Tukiainen (lead guitar), Markus "Captain" Kaarlonen (keyboards, production), Jani Snellman (bass guitar), Jaska Mäkinen (rhythm guitar), and Jari Salminen (drums). Their debut album, "Signs of Life" (2005), reached number one on the Finnish charts and achieved platinum status. Notable tracks include "Late Goodbye," featured in the video game Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne.
