Robert Hood is an American techno producer and DJ, recognized as one of the founders of minimal techno. Hailing from Detroit, he was a member of the Underground Resistance collective. In 1994, he released the album "Minimal Nation," considered pivotal in the minimal techno genre. Other notable works include "Internal Empire" and "Motor: Nighttime World 3." Hood is known for his minimalist approach to production, and his influence on electronic music is widely acknowledged.
