Rongeur is a Norwegian trio from Oslo, formed in 2012. Their music blends sludge metal and noise rock, drawing inspiration from bands like Eyehategod, Helmet, and Neurosis. They debuted with the compilation "The Catastrophist & As The Blind Strive Demos" in 2015, followed by the album "An Asphyxiating Embrace" in 2018. In 2021, they released "Glacier Tongue" under the Fysisk Format label. The band is known for their energetic live performances and raw sound.
