Syndicate of Sound is an American garage rock band formed in San Jose, California, in 1964. The band gained prominence with their 1966 hit "Little Girl," which reached number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The original lineup consisted of Don Baskin (vocals, guitar), Bob Gonzalez (bass guitar), Larry Ray (lead guitar), John Sharkey (guitar, keyboards), and John Duckworth (drums). Throughout their career, they released several singles and albums, with "Little Girl" remaining their most recognized song. In 2006, the band was inducted into the San Jose Rocks Hall of Fame.
