The Avalanches are an Australian electronic music group formed in Melbourne in 1997. They are known for their debut album "Since I Left You" released in 2000, which is considered a significant example of the plunderphonics genre. The album was assembled from approximately 3,500 vinyl samples and received critical acclaim. They subsequently released "Wildflower" in 2016 and "We Will Always Love You" in 2020.
