Tito Carrillo is an American trumpeter and composer from Austin, Texas, known for his contributions to the Chicago jazz scene. He has released two solo albums: "Opening Statement" in 2011 and "Urbanessence" in 2022. His music blends jazz with Afro-Cuban rhythms, creating an authentic Latin jazz sound. Carrillo has collaborated with artists such as Willie Pickens, Bobby Broom, Patricia Barber, Kurt Elling, Woody Herman, and the Chicago Jazz Ensemble.
