Year Future was a noise-punk band formed in 2003 in Los Angeles. The original lineup included vocalist Sonny Kay (The VSS, Angel Hair), guitarist Rockey Crane (Dead and Gone, Creeps on Candy), bassist Sam Ott (The Fucking Angels), and drummer Jim Andersen (The Pattern, Talk Is Poison). Later additions were bassist Pete Lyman (Living Science Foundation) and drummer Chris Hathwell (Moving Units). Their music blended screamo elements with dub basslines and gothic keyboard textures. Notable recordings include "Year Future EP" (2003), "The Hidden Hand" (2004), and "First World Fever" (2006). The products available from the artist Year Future include CDs.
