Young MC, born Marvin Young, is an American rapper and actor born in London in 1967. He gained fame in 1989 with the hit "Bust a Move" from his debut album "Stone Cold Rhymin'", which reached number 9 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album also featured the single "Principal's Office", nominated for an MTV Video Music Award. Young MC collaborated with artists like Tone Lōc on tracks "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina". His second album, "Brainstorm", released in 1991, achieved gold status. In 2024, he returned to the charts with the song "Fun Part", reaching number 38 on the Rhythmic Airplay chart.
