Zahia-Dyhia Ziouani is a French conductor and musician born on June 27, 1978, in Paris to Algerian parents. In 1981, her family moved to Pantin, where she still resides. Her twin sister, Fettouma Ziouani, is a cellist. Zahia began conducting her school's choir at the age of 8 and later learned to play the viola. She studied at Lycée Racine in Paris and earned diplomas in musical analysis, orchestration, and musicology from Paris-Sorbonne University. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with various orchestras and gained recognition for her contributions to classical music.
