100 Proof Aged In Soul was a Detroit-based soul group formed in 1969. The ensemble featured vocalists Joe Stubbs, Clyde Wilson (known as Steve Mancha), and Eddie Holiday. Their debut single, "Too Many Cooks (Spoil the Soup)," was released in 1969, followed by the hit "Somebody's Been Sleeping," which reached the Top 10 in 1970. They released two albums: "Somebody's Been Sleeping in My Bed" (1970) and "Deliciously Yours" (1972). The group disbanded in 1973. Their music blended elements of soul and funk, with a style influenced by Southern soul.
