Abiodun Odukoya, known as Abiodun, is a German-Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer. Born in London and raised in Lagos, he was influenced by diverse music genres ranging from reggae to afrobeat. After relocating to Germany in 1986, he began his music career under the moniker Don Abi. In 1998, he co-founded the project BANTU, whose debut album 'Fufu' achieved success in Nigeria. In 2018, he released the album 'Break Free', blending genres such as afrobeat, soul, funk, and rock. Abiodun is also known as a co-founder of the collective Brothers Keepers and is considered a pioneer of the German reggae, afro, and soul music scene.
