The Academy of St Martin in the Fields is an English chamber orchestra founded in London in 1959 by conductor Sir Neville Marriner. Initially conductorless and focused on Baroque music, it later expanded its repertoire to include all musical periods. The orchestra is renowned for recordings of works such as Mozart's Requiem and Fauré's Requiem, as well as contributions to film soundtracks like Amadeus and Titanic.
