Accept is a German heavy metal band formed in 1976 in Solingen. The current lineup includes guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, vocalist Mark Tornillo, guitarists Uwe Lulis and Philip Shouse, drummer Christopher Williams, and bassist Martin Motnik. The band played a significant role in the development of speed and thrash metal. Among their most notable albums is "Balls to the Wall" (1983), which achieved gold certification in the USA and Canada. In 2024, they released their seventeenth studio album, "Humanoid."
