Active Force was an American boogie, funk, and soul quintet created by producer and songwriter Michael Stokes. Their self-titled album was released in 1983 and featured the club hit "Give Me Your Love." Stokes was known for his work with artists such as Creative Source, Smokey Robinson, Janet Jackson, Brass Construction, and BT Express. Grammy Award-winning pianist Patrice Rushen also contributed to the Active Force album.
