Aleksandra Kurzak is a Polish operatic soprano who began her career in 2000 at the Hamburg State Opera. Notable roles include Gilda in "Rigoletto," Violetta in "La traviata," and Lucia in "Lucia di Lammermoor." She has performed on leading stages worldwide, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York and the Royal Opera House in London. Her 2011 album "Gioia!" achieved platinum status in Poland. Kurzak has received numerous awards, including the Gold Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis in 2018.
