Alexei Ogrintchouk is a Russian oboist and conductor, born in Moscow in 1978. He studied at the Gnessin Music School and later at the Paris Conservatoire under Maurice Bourgue, Jacques Tys, and Jean-Louis Capezzali. In 1999, he became the principal oboist of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, and since 2005, he has held the same position with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam. As a soloist, he has collaborated with orchestras such as the Mariinsky Theatre, the Bolshoi Theatre, and the BBC Philharmonic. In 2023, he was appointed chief conductor of Phion, Orchestra of Gelderland & Overijssel. Ogrintchouk also serves as a professor at the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. The products available from the artist Alexei Ogrintchouk include CDs.
