This concept album narrates the story of a serial killer named 'Spider', who wraps his victims in silk and removes their legs to create his own spider. Musically, the album blends elements of hard rock and heavy metal, maintaining Alice Cooper's signature dark and theatrical style. Produced by Greg Hampton and Danny Saber, the album features guitarist Slash on the track 'Vengeance Is Mine'. The album was a commercial success, becoming Cooper's highest-charting studio effort in the United States since 1991.
