Alicia de Larrocha (1923–2009) was a Spanish pianist renowned for her interpretations of works by Spanish composers such as Isaac Albéniz, Enrique Granados, and Manuel de Falla. Born in Barcelona, she began piano lessons at age three under Frank Marshall. Throughout her career, she recorded over 200 albums and won four Grammy Awards. She collaborated with artists like Victoria de los Ángeles and Montserrat Caballé. In 1994, she received the Prince of Asturias Award for the Arts.
