Alison O'Donnell is an Irish musician, singer, and songwriter. In 1968, she co-founded the progressive folk rock band Mellow Candle, which released the album "Swaddling Songs" in 1972. After the band's dissolution, she continued her musical career, collaborating with various artists and releasing several solo albums, including "Hey Hey Hippy Witch" (2010) and "Exotic Masks and Sensible Shoes" (2019). Her music blends elements of folk, folk rock, and psychedelia. O'Donnell is known for her collaborations with the collective United Bible Studies and the band The Owl Service.
