Amatis Trio is an international piano trio founded in 2014 in Amsterdam. It consists of German violinist Lea Hausmann, British cellist Samuel Shepherd, and Dutch pianist Mengjie Han. The trio has received several awards, including the first prize at the International Parkhouse Award in London. Their repertoire includes works by classical composers such as Shostakovich and Babadjanian. Clarinetist Ib Hausmann is a renowned German musician who has collaborated with various esteemed ensembles and composers. Together, they recorded an album featuring Olivier Messiaen's "Quatuor pour la fin du temps."
