Amy Speace is an American singer-songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland, known for her work in the folk and Americana genres. After beginning her career in New York City's folk clubs, she was discovered by Judy Collins, who signed her to her Wildflower Records label. Speace has released several albums, including "Songs For Bright Street" (2006), "The Killer In Me" (2009), and "Me And The Ghost Of Charlemagne" (2019). Her song "Me And The Ghost Of Charlemagne" won the International Song of the Year award from the Americana Music Association UK in 2020. Speace regularly performs at festivals such as Glastonbury and the Cambridge Folk Festival and has collaborated with artists like Mary Gauthier and Sid Selvidge.
