Andreas Spering is a German conductor and harpsichordist specializing in early music. He studied under Gerd Zacher in Essen and was a member of Musica Antiqua Köln under Reinhard Goebel. In 1996, he became the artistic director of the Brühler Schlosskonzerte, where he established Germany's first festival dedicated to Joseph Haydn. He has conducted operas by Mozart, Handel, Beethoven, and Weber in cities such as Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Antwerp, and Seville. Spering has collaborated with orchestras like the Bamberger Symphoniker, Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, and New Japan Philharmonic.
