Angels of Light was an American neofolk band formed in 1998 by Michael Gira after disbanding his previous group, Swans. The band released five studio albums, including "New Mother" (1999), "How I Loved You" (2001), and "We Are Him" (2007). Their music blends elements of folk rock, alternative country, and neofolk. Gira frequently collaborated with various musicians, including members of Akron/Family, who contributed to the albums "The Angels of Light Sing 'Other People'" (2005) and "We Are Him". All albums were released under Gira's own label, Young God Records. The products available from the artist Angels of Light include CDs.
