Anika, born Annika Henderson in 1987, is a British-German singer, songwriter, and journalist. She began her music career in 2010 by collaborating with Geoff Barrow of Portishead and his band Beak>, with whom she recorded her debut album "Anika". This album features both original songs and covers, such as Yoko Ono's "Yang Yang". In 2016, she formed the band Exploded View based in Mexico City. She released the album "Change" in 2021, followed by "Abyss" in 2025. Anika is known for her experimental approach to music, blending dub, electronic, and post-punk genres.
