The Animato Quartet is a Dutch string quartet founded in 2013, renowned for their passionate and spontaneous performances. The quartet has received several awards, including the Kersjes Prize in 2023 and first place at the Irene Steels-Wilsing Foundation Competition in 2025. Their repertoire encompasses both classical works and contemporary compositions. They have performed at prestigious venues such as Het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Philharmonie in Paris. The quartet's members are Inga Våga Gaustad (violin), Tim Brackman (violin), Elisa Karen Tavenier (viola), and Pieter de Koe (cello).
