Anna German was a Polish singer born in 1936 in Urgench, then part of the Soviet Union. After moving to Poland, she studied geology at the University of Wrocław. During her studies, she began her musical career at the Kalambur Theater. In 1964, she gained recognition by winning the Festival of Polish Songs in Opole with the song "Tańczące Eurydyki". She released several albums, including "Na tamten brzeg" (1964) and "Człowieczy los" (1970). She sang in various languages, including Polish, Russian, Italian, and German. In 1967, she suffered a serious car accident in Italy, after which she spent several years recovering. She passed away in 1982 in Warsaw.
