Annisteen Allen was an American blues and jazz singer, born Ernestine Letitia Allen in Champaign, Illinois. She began her career in 1945 with recordings like "Miss Annie's Blues" and "Love for Sale". Allen collaborated with artists such as Big John Greer, Wynonie Harris, and Lucky Millinder. In 1951, she signed with Federal Records and recorded tracks like "I'll Never Be Free" and "I'm Waiting Just for You". Her 1953 single "Baby I'm Doin' It" reached No. 8 on the Billboard R&B chart.
