Anton Arensky was a Russian composer and pianist known for his chamber works and orchestral compositions. He studied at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory under Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and later taught at the Moscow Conservatory, where his students included Sergei Rachmaninoff and Alexander Scriabin. Notable works include Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor, Op. 32, and Variations on a Theme by Tchaikovsky, Op. 35a.
